These classes are for actors of ALL levels

who have never taken classes with me before.

14 slots are available.

Know the vocabulary. Expect to learn an array of exercises, tools, techniques, and philosophies from the pioneers such as Uta Hagen, Stanislavsky, Strasberg, Adler and Meisner. Beginners will learn exactly how to go about choosing material and start working and rehearsing monologues and scenes. Continuing actors will not only be reminded of the basics, but also have a chance to refine, refresh, and learn different ways to approach materials.

OPEN level ACTING

Spring 2025

Scene Study

Spring 2025

These classes are for continuing students who have taken my INTRO and OPEN level acting courses before.

14 slots are available.

All the exercises, tools and techniques you’ve learned from the INTRO and OPEN classes will be put to the test by working on a scene with a partner from class over a seven week course. I’ll be pairing students together and hand picking the scenes based on what you’re currently working on with your acting.

These classes are for continuing actors ONLY.

Actors who sign up for this course must have taken classes or have had private sessions with me before.

12 slots are available.

In these performance based classes you’ll experience what it would be like to rehearse for an actual show: working with a director, scene partners/cast-mates, tech and dress rehearsal, and performance. Students will work on monologues and short scenes that will showcase and challenge their acting abilities. Only twelve slots are available for this course.

This package will include professional video footage from the show so students can add to their reels.

Katrina has performed, directed, and taught in New York City for over fifteen years. She has studied acting with Rob McCaskill in New York and Sal Romeo in L.A., and has taught acting for youth and adults across the U.S. and Ireland. Katrina believes that every actor is different and every project is different, and the more tools you know the better you are able to approach the work and do your very best with it. Let’s explore and let’s play.
